I Can't Believe I Actually Did It!

As I mentioned in my earlier post, Jamie and I snuck away on Saturday night, July 14, for a little appointment I made for myself. I got a tattoo!! Yes that is right, I got inked! Not many people know, or will know, especially my MOTHER! LOL

It didn't hurt nearly as bad as I had anticipated. I will admit I did take a little something to calm my nerves, but I passed on the lidocaine patches a friend offered. A big thanks to Buzz at Puddytats in Buford. He did a great job not hurting me more than he had to. It's a horse head and neck but it's sort of "artsy".

Camping Time!

Jamie and I decided to get away for a long weekend and head up to Bogg's Creek. We had a great time and the poochies had a blast. We snuck away (all the way to Buford) on Saturday night for a big event. I will post more about that later, it warrants a post of it's own. Jamie's mom and dad and his cousin's son Matthew tagged along. Jamie made his oh so good gravy every morning, and dinner was steaks cooked on the grill. I ate entirely too much and slept a lot. It was a good weekend. lol. Jamie got lots of fishing time, Gidget decided that the fish did NOT belong in the water, and Zoe thinks she is a lab and secretly wants to be a water dog. (she was so busy running in the creek I couldn't get a clear photo) Token peed on the floor of the motor home she was so scared when we left, and I had to give her a Xanax, which was entertaining in itself.
